How to Draw a Unicorn Step by Step

Draw the head
Start by drawing a large oval near the top left of your paper for the head. Make one side just a little bit pointier to form the nose. This simple basic shape is the perfect starting point to build your unicorn.
Tip: Press lightly with your pencil so you can easily erase later.

Draw the body
Leave a little space below the head and draw a larger, longer oval. This big shape will become the main body. Drawing your unicorn using these basic shapes keeps the whole process neat, simple, and very easy to follow. It is a great trick for beginners.
Tip: Make the body about twice as long as the head.

Connect the neck
Draw two smooth curved lines to connect the back of the head down to the body oval. Now your majestic friend has a strong neck! These lines should slope downwards gently to give a nice, proud posture as you continue.

Add the front legs
