Draw the head
Start by drawing a nice big circle near the top of your paper. This round shape will be the head. Make sure to leave plenty of room underneath so you can fit the body later. It does not have to be a perfect circle!
Tip: Draw lightly so you can easily fix any mistakes later on.

Add the neck and body
Just underneath the head, draw two tiny vertical lines to create a short neck. Below the neck, draw a simple bell shape that flares out at the bottom. This will be a very cute, easy dress for her body.
Tip: The bottom of the dress should be wider than the top.

Draw the hair
Let us add some hair! Draw a smooth curved line swooping over the top of the head. Bring the ends down past her shoulders on both sides. You can make the hair short and bouncy or long and straight depending on what you like.
Tip: Hair looks best when it is slightly bigger than the head circle.

Add the face
In the middle of the face circle, draw two bold dots to create her bright eyes. Right below those eyes, draw a small, happy curved line for a big smile. Adding these easy shapes will instantly bring your cheerful drawing to life.
Tip: Place the eyes in the middle of the head, not too high up.

Draw the arms
Starting from the top corners of the dress, draw two long shapes angling downward. These will be her arms resting calmly by her sides. At the very bottom of each arm, draw a simple little oval to make her easy hands.
Tip: Keep the arms relatively thin compared to her dress body.

Add the legs
Look closely at the bottom edge of her dress. Draw two straight rectangles extending straight down towards the bottom of your page. These will be her legs. Make sure they are about the same length so she can stand up perfectly straight.
Tip: Leave a small gap between the two legs.

Right at the bottom of each leg, draw a small half-circle or a sideways oval. These simple shapes make up her cute shoes. You can draw a straight line across each shoe if you want to give her easy straps or shoelaces.
Tip: Make the shoes point slightly outwards for a natural standing pose.
